|  CITAZIONE We are a seven piece concept post hardcore band from the south east of England. Bringing together long standing friends and new allies in an attempt to create a musical project, mixing our love of post rock, metal, ambient noise and experimental soundscapes. The concept itself borrows from The His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman, Paradise Lost by John Milton and The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri
The narrative follows the casting out of the innocent Lucifer, light bearer, and his attempt to sew the seeds of sentience in humanity, to bear witness to the true form of the Authority; a liar and a false God. We are currently working on the first part of a series of records, entitled "Innocence." CITAZIONE For Lucifer so loved his father that he could not comprehend Gods overwhelming love for mankind. This betrayal cut so deep that he took up arms against the kingdom of heaven. In his unfathomable rage, God cast out Lucifer and the rebel angels, to dwell within the earth. He shackled them in this cold and endless waste, embedded in ice. For millenia Lucifer questioned the all-father and his motives. Was this the action of the omnipotent? infinite punishment for a finite act of love? A perfect God, capable of such petty deeds, could this be so? And in that moment, beneath the charred stigeon roof of the earth, Lucifer entertained a thought; was his father a God at all?
