But Touch & Go isn't disappearing just yet. And come April 18, Record Store Day, they'll grant a huge favor to aging indie dorks everywhere when they release Inch, a 7" box set of out-of-print material from notorious Chicago pigfuck originators the Jesus Lizard. Just like every other Record Store Day exclusive, Inch will be available exclusively at independent record stores.

Back in the day, the Jesus Lizard used to churn out 45 rpm slabs at a scary rate. But every last one of those singles has been out of print for at least six years, so Inch will fill a very serious void. Shellac's Bob Weston has remastered all those singles, and they'll come in a foldable clear plastic package. Inch will include "Puss", the Jesus Lizard half of a split that they did with Nirvana immediately after that band blew the fuck up. Also included: "Gladiator", which the band gave away at a 1992 London show and then never sold anywhere else.
