Trap Them are an absolutely brutal metal/hardcore band formed by Ryan McKenney (ex-Backstabbers Inc.) and Brian Izzi (ex-December Wolves). In early 2007, Trap Them released two stunning records on Rhode Island's Trash Art! label, both engineered by Kurt Ballou (Converge) at Godcity Studios. First was their crushing "Self Titled" debut 7"EP. Bringing to mind influences Entombed, Nasum, and even Black Flag, the release was a devastating three song wake up call to the aggressive music community. Just two months later, Trap Them released "Sleepwell Deconstructor", their debut full length on Trash Art!. The album's viciousness is awe inducing, proving that they already deserve to stand among the elite of the extreme metal and hardcore genre.
On 10/30 Trap Them will unveil their third release of the year, their "Seance Prime" CDEP/7"EP on Deathwish.
Easily their heaviest release to date "Seance Prime" was recorded by Kurt Ballou (Converge) at Godcity Studios. "Seance Prime" is a tornado of D-Beat hooks, frantic bursts of speed, and earth shaking dirges. Erasing the line between metal and punk with every unpredictable twist and turn it takes. Once again proving that Trap Them are one of the most relevant and interesting bands in aggressive music scene today.

TRASH TALK/CRUEL HAND/THE MONGOLOIDS
We will be heading out on a Full U.S. tour in November/December with Cruel Hand. The Mongoloids are playing all of the east coast shows on that tour. I will have the dates for that tour within the week. Once I have them I'll post them on here. It's going to be nuts. MIJMIJMIJ.
WEST COAST TOUR
Then in January we will be doing a full westcoast tour. Playing everywhere on the left coast that you can possibly play. Northwest/California etc. I'll post all of that info when all of the dates are set.
EURO TOUR w/ BRACEWAR/LOSING STREAK
We are going to be heading to europe in March. It is in the process of being booked right now. We are going to be doing about 8 shows in the UK with Bracewar. They will then be flying home and we will head into the mainland with Losing Streak from Belgium. We will be doing about a week of shows in the mainland. If you haven't checked out Losing Streak yet you should. They fuckin rule. Once I have all of the info for these shows you will know.
NEW RECORD
We just recorded a new EP called "Plagues". It is 6 brand new songs. It'll be out in a few months on Malfunction Records. We are just waiting on the artwork to be finished up and all of that stuff. When it is all done Pre-orders and what not will be posted up here. Check it out.

Refining their mid-tempo power displayed in their previous release, Bitter End take it to the next level with their debut album, "Climate of Fear". http://www.deathwishinc.com/listennow/23/The Great Deceiver are the vision of vocal legend Tomas Lindberg (At The Gates, Disfear, etc) and longtime friend Kristian Wahlin (Necrolord), visual artist to legendary bands At The Gates, Dissection, etc. Together, they formed the band just after the demise of At The Gates in 1999.
The Great Deceiver have constantly evolved since their inception, progressing past the trends of the day, they have made a career of defying limiting classifications. With releases on labels as diverse as Trustkill (Bleeding Through, This Is Hell, etc) and Peaceville (Paradise Lost, At The Gates, etc), they've solidified their reputation as a force to be reckoned with in both the metal and hardcore worlds. With the opening bass line of "Declarations On A Grave", 108 transports listeners to a new aural plane with it's jarring grit and intensity. Standout track "Three Hundred Liars" is as musically infectious as they come, pulsing and writhing through it's many sonic twists and turns. And elsewhere on the album "Angel Strike Man" soars with a Bad Brains-esque white hot anger while "The Sad Truth" cuts deep with repetition and poignant poetic vocal styling. These, along with the other songs on the album, are all sonically unique and spiritually invigorating.
