e non oso immaginare cosa ne possa venire fuori. Wino è una leggenda, gli Om una band dalle grandi promesse (ma non ancora del tutto mantenute), Kelly sappiamo tutti cos'è (anche se i suoi side-projects non è che mi intrighino più di tanto...). Speriamo bene...

E' con immenso piacere rendervi partecipi di questa notizia giuntami quasi per caso...

The Hidden Hand, the band featuring hard rock guitar legend Scott "Wino" Weinrich (St. Vitus, The Obsessed, Spirit Caravan), has split up.

Commented Weinrich: "Without going into detail to embarrass anyone, this is a message to inform everyone The Hidden Hand no longer exists. I cannot any longer tolerate being promised stuff that never happens or be accused of dishonesty. I think in my long and fruitful career I have always tried to be fair and honest, even going out of my way creatively and financially to make it happen including compromise. I have put an enormous burden on my family and myself to try and fulfill my dreams which have not been to enrich myself financially, but to enrich others as well as myself spiritually and emotionally. The music industry these days turns on the most mediocre crap, be it pop or cheesy black metal, which is really just sickening or laughable. So be it. I will still be wholeheartedly dedicated to the Shrinebuilder project with Chris and Al of Om and Scott from Neurosis. This will be a long way off but I KNOW these dudes are FOR REAL. SO all I will say now is thanks for believing. I`m sure some will assume I am some ego guy who`s impossible to work with, nothing is farther from the truth. I just expect the same amount of fairness and respect I give. A tall call these days, unfortunately."

Mi ero avvicinato agli Hidden Hand recentemente e mi dispiace che si siano sciolti, dal vivo li avrei sentiti volentieri....
Speriamo per il prgetto Shrinebuilder, che dalle premesse sembra davvero interessantissimo....

i soggetti in questione li ho visti tutti dal vivo, e non posso far altro che sbavare anticipatamente pensando ai possibili mix... uuuhhh

Wino è un grande. Tutte le sue 'vesti' artistiche si sono rivelate di altissimo livello

Senza dimenticare St. Vitus e Place of Skulls ('Whit Vision' è un capolavoro d'altri tempi...). Cmq ammetto di essere di parte.

Dispiaciuto per la brutta fine degli Hidden Hand......ma gasatissimo per questo nuovo progetto,non oso neanche immaginare cosa ne uscirà fuori.


Grande Adelpy,With Vision è a mio avviso il disco doom più bello degli ultimi anni.

Ne ho detta una parecchio sonora quando ho finito di leggere la news...non la dico perché altrimenti il Vaticano mi banna...però mi dispiace che gli Hidden Hand si siano sciolti, anche perché il loro ultimo lavoro è di pregevole fattura e mostrava una band in gran salute. Poco male, con una sezione ritmica come quella (piccolo inciso: gli Om non mi convincono molto però, aspetto il nuovo full-length per essere smentito) e con Kelly dei Nostri, beh, mi sa che può venir fuori qualcosa di pauroso...la terra trema...

Is Chris still going to be a part of the project, or with the new OM drummer fill in for him in this band as well???

Stando a quanto stava scritto sul maispeis degli Om sembrerebbe che Haikus abbia mollato anche gli Shrinebuilder... non è molto chiaro, comunque.
